A collage painting in soft tones of brown and green, depicting the Dried Cat on display in the Gold Hill Museum in Shaftesbury, Dorset.
Height: 23 cm
Width: 41 cm
Depth: 1.7 cm
It was created from torn-up fragments of different paintings and drawings I have done previously, using acrylic, watercolour, oil pastel, charcoal and ink. The design is sealed with a water-based transparent glue, which keeps everything in place and adds a pleasing textured effect to the background.
This unique artwork is on black card behind glass in a custom-made pewter-effect frame, signed on the front and labelled on the back. The back is finished with D-rings, a cord and tective felt bumpers so it’s ready to hang on the wall.
The image showing the painting hanging on the wall with the ornaments is a ‘virtual reality’ one, to show you what it could look like in a home setting. The pewter-effect frame is in fact plain and smooth, as shown in the image to the left of this.
Delivery within the UK is included in the price. I will send it carefully packaged, by 2nd class Royal Mail, within 3 days of receiving payment.
Wherever possible, I use recycled packaging to send out my artwork. This may not look as pretty as custom or brand-new packaging but it keeps costs down and of course is less wasteful and kinder to the environment!
